IDD
SFTGSTF Industrial Design Department was initiated in 2005 with the Undergraduate Program, which was planned to offer a double-track day and evening teaching. Both tracks have a quota of 60 students each. The first time students were enrolled was in the beginning of the Academic Year 2012-2013.

In the Academic Year 2012-2013 there are 8 academic staff members with 4 assistant professors,1 instructor and 3 research assistants. The Department is administered by the Chairperson, the Assistant Chairperson and the General Council, which is a consultant body that meets regularly. 

Major study and research subjects and areas of the Department are industrial design, industrial design culture, theory and history, human-artifact interface, visual communication, design and fabrication / manufacturing, and marketing.
