HISTORY
General Structure
2 Prof. Dr., 2 Assoc. Prof. Dr., and 3 Lect. Dr. have been working at Department of Painting. Research areas: art and art history, traditional printing methods(Engraving, Serigraphy ects.), wall painting methods,methods for three-dimensional perception and design, design methods, visual art practice fields as parallel to contemporary technology, art works and art methods.

Course Structure

Education is based on contemporary aesthetic understanding and painting techniques. Students receive an intensive Basic Art Education in the first year. After the first year, students are trained in the techniques of model painting, design, printmaking and mural painting. Students receive theoretical and practical training where they are encouraged to develop their own identity and create their individual artistic language. This program aims to include all theoretical and practical aspects of the field of study and to train creative and constructive painters who are in tune with contemporary artistic conceptions.
