Our university set out with the slogan "Science-centered student-friendly university"; It prepares our young people, who are the guarantee of our future, for professional life in the best possible way with its innovative education approach, education-training models suitable for qualified education targets and technological infrastructure. Adopting the principle of "versatile individual" as its principle, Karabük University enables our young people to further develop themselves socially with the cultural, artistic, sports activities and social responsibility projects it carries out.
The mission of our department: To raise individuals who are productive, active and open to interaction with the principle of lifelong learning-education, who understand and develop the environment they live in, who have the ability to combine the knowledge they have gained by analyzing music with its scientific or technological content with their creativity and share it with all segments of the society or sector.
VISION
To train artists, researchers, educators and academicians who are accepted nationally and internationally in the field of music; to produce realistic, contemporary and applicable solutions to the art problems of our country and the world, starting from our close circle; to develop an opinion and create a model in the shaping and identity of our country's art with educational studies, researches and art activities, to expand the area of impact of the department quality at national and international level with individuals who are creative, innovative, integrated with society and sector-in the fields of music science and music technology.
