Karabük University GameJam 2026 Spring Awards Found Their Owners: Creativity and Technology Come Together!
Karabük University Game Jam 2026 Spring was implemented within the scope of the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES) conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Organized by the Digital Culture and Fictional Universes Club, advised by Research Assistant Hilal Sansar from the Graphic Design Department, and held at the Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in Safranbolu, this national event saw the participation of 19 different teams from across Turkey. Participants from Marmara University, Hacettepe University, Kastamonu University, Bülent Ecevit University, and various other universities and regions of Turkey gathered at Karabük University to participate in an exciting game development process.

The organization, which offered a 48-hour uninterrupted game development marathon, also received significant contributions from KBÜ Maker, KBÜ Artificial Intelligence, and KBÜ Game Factory clubs as supporting clubs. Participants developed original projects around the theme of "Harmony" within a limited time frame. These projects were then evaluated by a jury comprised of prominent figures in the gaming industry – Ali Yağız Kani, Serdar Baran Ateş, and Göktan Sılay – based on criteria such as game design, technical proficiency, creativity, and storytelling. The winners were determined after the evaluation process.
